“Batter Up”
I probably would watch sports if it looked anything like this…
I See the Moon watercolor on paper
Stargazing is her favorite hobby.
Paper Moon watercolor on paper
'It is only a paper moon
Hanging over a cardboard sea
But it wouldn't be make believe
If you believe in me...' -Nat King Cole, It's Only a Paper Moon
Spring Has Sprung watercolor on paper
Thoughts of spring are blooming in my mind, and it has already sprung up in my heart. Something tells me that the Easter Bunny might just like a fancy little smock, so I painted one for her and handed her a bouquet.
Be Cool Stay in School 14"x16" watercolor on paper
This original painting is now available in my shop, in case you'd like to give these two a loving home!
Be Cool Stay in School 14"x16"
Something I created for my agency's promotional theme of "Take Your Pet to School". If we all only had a giant, helpful rabbit who helped us with the heavy lifting so we could have a free hand for yo-yo-ing! This kid is super cool, and he knows it!
(p.s. His glasses are my favorite part about his outfit, hands down.)
A Rabbit + a book + vintage spectacles = One happy illustrator
Hopper watercolor on paper
Just a rabbit in his garden, defending it from thieving crows.
The Animal's Picnic 12"x12" watercolor on paper

The Animal's Picnic 12"x12" watercolor on paper
Summer get-togethers are the funnest, and this bunch has gathered 'round a mushroom cap for a feast of corn and ripe watermelon. Good things are always made that much better with friends. I hope your summer looks something like this (but if you are keeping company with a sweet little otter dressed in retro attire, please let me know, I'd love to tag along!)
Happy Summer!
Farmer O'Hare & Bonnie Bunny: The Morning Chores 12"x10" watercolor on paper
Taking care of their farm friends. One of many new illustrations coming into my shop this week! Farm life at its sweetest.
Farmer O'Hare & Bonnie Bunny 12"x10" watercolor on paper
These two rabbit farmers are my favorites! If you'd like to see the on your walls, I just put them up in my shop. You can give them a home, here!
Farmer O'Hare & Bonny Bunny: The Morning Chores 12"x10" watercolor on paper
A glimpse into the charming country life of Farmer O'Hare & Bonny Bunny. I'm convinced there could be no sweeter homestead than theirs.
Boiled eggs emerging from a metal pot, and sinking down into lovely hues of tinted vinegar. It is Easter-Eve for certain.
Oh, how I love this time of year! Every time spring rolls around, I fall that much more in love with it. I fashioned these two painted shells after old delftware and blue china patterns of yesteryear. And of course, I come by my love of daffodils naturally, they were my Grandmother's favorite flower. I can absolutely see why.
Happy Easter, my little rabbits!
Farmer O'Hare 12"x10" watercolor on paper
Farmer O'Hare and Bonnie Bunny are busy gathering and working in their garden.
I've fallen in love with these two characters, and I can guarantee that you will be seeing a lot more of them in my coming work!
Sharing a few bunny thoughts before Easter. Feeling very spring-y this week.
{Painted version coming tomorrow!}
The Magical Story Hour 12"x12" watercolor & ink on paper
After building their new friend, the following day the children returned to enjoy his company again. And they all settled down for a quiet and magical story hour with their new friend. Everyone is hoping to have their favorite book read aloud, even the animals (the birds are carrying their favorite in the air!) What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon!
Thinking of teaching my own snow sculptures the handy trick of reading a-loud from favorite books.
Building Friendships 12"x12" watercolor & ink on paper
One of my favorite things about the winter is being able to sculpt a jolly being from all that snow. These clever kids have thought of all of the right ingredients for making a new friend and bring him to life! (Sequel illustration to follow shortly)
You're the Apple of My Eye 11"x14" watercolor on paper
This happy trio has spent the afternoon in the apple orchard, picking apples, reading, taking the occasional photograph, and (as the evidence of blankets and baskets would suggest) enjoying a hearty picnic lunch. There really is no sweeter way to pass a day than this.
On this cold and wintery January day, I am most certainly with them in my heart of hearts.
