The Animal's Picnic
The Animal's Picnic 12"x12" watercolor on paper
Summer get-togethers are the funnest, and this bunch has gathered 'round a mushroom cap for a feast of corn and ripe watermelon. Good things are always made that much better with friends. I hope your summer looks something like this (but if you are keeping company with a sweet little otter dressed in retro attire, please let me know, I'd love to tag along!)
Happy Summer!
Deer & Mushrooms
This is part of something very fun that I have been working on!
Bon Voyage!!
Wishing happy trails to this original that has just been sent off to its new home!
I'll miss these little trick-or-treaters, good luck out there guys!!
The Woodland Halloween Troupe
The Woodland Halloween Troupe 10"x8" watercolor and ink on paper
A bit of woodland autumn fun, just one of the reasons why October is my favorite month in the year.
Inktober: Day 5
Inking tiny mushroom homes and white cabbage moths. A secret woodland retreat. Find myself wishing I saw more real estate listings that resembled this.
Hansel & Gretel: Breadcrumbs
Hansel & Gretel: Breadcrumbs 6.5"x10" Watercolor & gouache on paper
Little Hansel consoles a crying Gretel as he fends off the crows that are trying to steal their bread. Of course we all know the importance of those breadcrumbs to Hansel & Gretel, the famous forsaken and tragic fairy tale siblings.
This is my rendition of the beloved Grimm's story.
